2009 Daytona 500 Results

I was not happy with that race. Don't get me wrong - it was decent racing when you weren't waiting for a tire to explode, BUT you could take the most intense race ever and ruin it by not finishing with the cars rolling. Oh well, maybe next year.

Remember, You score based on finishing position. Forget to get your weekly pick in will cost you 44 points. Winner of the race gets 0. Most laps led gets a -5 bonus. Low score wins.

2009 Fantasy Racing

Its that time of year again. As I sit here preparing to watch the Bud Shootout, I thought I'd shoot out an email about session 1 starting next week with the Daytona 500. We will use the same rules this year as last year. Its real simple. $5 buy-in (which reminds me, I owe Joe Yu some winnings). You email me weekly who you want prior to each race for the first 11 races (Daytona through Darlington). You cannot use the same driver more than once in a session. You will get 1 point for each finishing position (i.e. 3rd place gets 3 points, 41st gets 41 points) the exception is the winner, who gets 0 points. In addition, the driver who leads the most laps in a race gets a 5 point deduction bonus. Low score after 11 races takes the pot. Ties are split.
